先日の記事についてご意見いただきました。確かに食わず嫌いな人もいるかもしれません。あと、ショップに丸投げの人もいるかと。丸投げというのは、単に自分でやるのが面倒という理由もあれば、プロに任せたほうが確実だという肯定的な立場もあるかと。...

1位は「プロに任せたほうが確実」。
しかし2位は「自分で弄るのが好き」。

ワイヤーの場合の理由はこちら。

1位は「自分で弄るのが好き」。
2位は「自分でやっても難しいとは思わないから」。

ワイヤー交換自体は難しいとは思いませんが、私はどうもバーテープ巻きが苦手なので、ショップに任せちゃってます。

見たところ、ワイヤーと油圧では明らかな差が出ました。
いわゆる「食わず嫌い」的なイメージによるものなのかどうかは何とも言えませんが、どちらのアンケートでも、これがあるんですよ。

ショップに任せたら自分好みの効き具合ではなかったため

ショップに信頼置いてない人も一定数いる。
先日もちらっと書きましたが、

まあまあどうでもいい話。

あるプロショップの不手際の話が回ってきたのですが、ちょっとだけ思うことを。そもそもそのショップ絡みの話って、だいぶ前から某所で発信されてないか？というのが疑問というか、今さらというか。気になって調べてみたら、2017年になっているし。...

こちら、確か右前ブレーキの人のロードバイクを、無断で左前に変更したところですよね。
単なる見栄えの問題で左右入れ替えはさすがにあり得ないけど、ショップに信頼置いてない人も一定数いる。

自分でバーテープ替えたのに「これどこのショップでやった？金返してもらったら？」などと平然というショップもあるみたいなので、行きたくない人もいるのかも。
私がお願いしている人は、この人なら金払ってお願いする価値があると思っているのですが、トラブル事案ってなぜか自転車界は多い気がする。

ということで、油圧とワイヤーでは明らかな差が出ましたが、理由については人それぞれです！
油圧に関しては、ショップ任せのほうが安心と思う人が多い様子。
