今回はAURUMという新しいブランド。
アルベルトコンタドールとイヴァンバッソが立ち上げた独創的なブランドです。

AURUMというロードバイクブランド

AURUMは「金」を意味しているそうで、つまりは勝者である証ということ。
カネではなくキンのほうです。
金メダルの金ですね。

 

レースで実績を積み上げてきたアルベルトコンタドールとイヴァンバッソが立ち上げた新ブランドで、今のところMAGMA（マグマ）という車種一つのみで勝負している新興ブランド。
剛性、快適性、空力、重量の４要素を全て最適化するように追求され、あらゆる道で最速にというのがコンセプトのようです。

デザインとしては結構シンプルに、オーソドックスな形状になっているようですね。
ディスクブレーキ用のフレームのみに絞っているようです。

 

このカラーは今年、いろんなブランドが取り入れているアレですね。

カラー選択はこの２種類から可能になっているようです。
グレイシャルブルーとステルスマットカーボンブラック。

 

オフセットシートステイではなく、伝統的なフレームの概観が個人的には嬉しいところ。
BB規格はBB386EVO。

 

重量はサイズ５４で８０５ｇとなっています。
超軽量というわけではありませんが、軽量性だけをターゲットにしているのではなく、あくまでも剛性、快適性、空力、軽量性という４要素を最適化しているというところでしょう。

 

フレームセット販売のほか、完成車も用意されている。
フレームセットが４０９９ユーロ、日本円だと５０万ちょっとというところ。
そのほか完成車も用意されてます。

 

基本的にオンラインのみの注文のようですので、実物を見てから決めるということはできないのでしょうけど、トッププロ選手が開発したとなるとそれだけで気持ちが惹かれるところはあるかと。
なかなかレビューなどもないでしょうけど、トッププロ選手が納得の性能・・・というところでしょうか。

    高はしです。
    　最近、数十年ぶり（大袈裟？ ）にフレームを買って感じたのですが、カーボンのフレームの方が、ＯＥＭ／ＯＤＭに対して親和性があるなァということ。
    　なんだかんだと言っても、クロモリフレームは職人技なのですよ、たぶん。ロウ接や溶接は、バーナーであぶって、ロウのまわりを見ながら…となれば。ラグレスで作ろうとなったらなおさらでしょう。アルミのTIG溶接になったら、オートメーション化もアリなのでしょうけど、それなりに大規模ですよね。
     対してカーボンなら、金型とオートクレーブがあれば、そこそこの規模でやれそうに思います。品質管理もオリジナルなデザインも、スタートアップに対応出来る規模（ロット）に対応できそうだと思うのです。・・・なんて考えて、トップ選手のブランド立ち上げを解釈していたりします。
    （ハナからＯＤＭだと決めつけるのも…てなお叱りがあるかもしれませんけど。）

      実際のところ、おっしゃるとおりだと思います。
      カーボンシートを張る作業は、さすがにクロモリの溶接に比べれば職人芸とはいえないようなものですし。
      簡単に作れるという点と、誰が作ってもある程度の品質が保証されているというところがカーボンの普及なのかもしれません。
