ロードチューブレスがそれなりに浸透してきて、しかもワイドリムの時代になってきてもモデルチェンジしなかったので、ロードタイヤから撤退気味なのかと勝手に思っていました。

現役ブリジストンユーザーとしての第一印象は、「高っ！！重っ！」です。
まぁ、他ブランドのトップモデルに対して重たいというわけではないし、C19基準に合わせてサイズアップして重たくなるのは仕方ないのかな…
にしても価格アップがハンパないですね。
ロードバイク用のタイヤブランドとしては後発でシェアも大きくないのに、この値段ではコンチネンタルやヴィットリア、ピレリなどに対して、突出したモノがないと厳しいかな…と感じます。
それほどの自信作ということなのでしょうかね。。
雑誌や有名サイトなどのヨイショ記事はアテにならないし、気軽に人柱になれる値段じゃないし、個人的にはしばらくは静観します。

値段が爆上げなので他社タイヤと価格面ではライバルになりますが、ブリヂストンがどういう広告戦略にいくのかについては興味があります。
最近はインフルエンサーばかりですが、配りまくる系は…(自主規制)。
